Your advisor chose to affiliate with Ausdal Financial Partners for a reason. AFP is not the largest firm in the industry, nor are we a household name. But that is of little concern to our advisors. They are looking for something else. Certainly they require state-of-the-art systems, technology and products to run their practices and serve their clients needs, but that is really the minimum requirement.
Many independent advisors feel that the broker dealer is an essential partner in their practice. They need a partner that will be responsive and accountable. They need to know that the firm is committed to their success and will be reliable through good and bad times.
At AFP we are very fortunate. The representatives of Ausdal Financial Partners typically have enjoyed a long term, straightforward relationship based in friendship, integrity and a genuine concern in the success of our clients and each other. Our advisors understand that they enjoy their independence and a valuable business relationship that they would not be likely to enjoy elsewhere.
The financial professionals affiliated with AFP are "independent" advisors. This means that they own and manage their own practice rather than operate as an employee of another financial institution. Advisors who choose independence do so because they want the freedom to build and manage their practice as they choose. In this structure, many advisors feel that they are more able to focus solely on serving their clients best interests, without feeling the pressure to advance a corporate agenda, market proprietary products or meet sales goals.
Independent practices can take many shapes and ultimately it is up to the advisor to determine how to run their business. Independent advisors practices can be very large or quite intimate, they can be specialists or general practitioners, partner with others or work alone. But they have one thing in common, they are free to serve their clients best interests.
The Ausdal Advisor
While each of our advisors is free to build the practice that they prefer, Ausdal Financial Partners works almost exclusively with experienced financial professionals who have an established practice. In order for a representative to join AFP, they need to show a respectable regulatory history and strong longstanding client relationships. In many cases, we have known the advisor for years prior to them joining our firm. Finally, we need to feel that the prospective advisor is of good character and genuinely puts their client's interest first.
This selective approach has it's benefits; because AFP has great confidence and trust in our representatives, they enjoy the freedom to run their business and serve their clients as they see fit.
When all is said and done, our approach is very simple. We seek to attract high quality experienced advisors, build longstanding relationships, and remember the importance of customer service. We strive to support your advisors efforts, provide them with the tools and the freedom they need to serve you and then get out of the way.
Most importantly, it is imperative that AFP and our advisors recognize that we share one common goal: to serve our client's needs and always put their interest first.
When we do that, everything seems to work out fine.
